The Good Grief is for sale and is in Portsmouth, VA. She is a 1965 Breuil Enterprise Sportfisherman. Her hull is solid fiberglass with no wood and is in great shape.
She is a bare bones boat with very little in the way of ammenities. She needs a lot of TLC. She has some areas of delamination on her bridge (glass over wood) and some rot around the hatches in her deck. She was once a beautiful charter boat that has been neglected in the past few years.
Please call 757-289-8862 for further details. Asking $14,000.
She needs work but the hull and engines are in great shape. It would make a great project for anyone wanting a great platform to start on. She is capable of use the way she is, but should be brought back up to certain point before heavy use.
These boats were built in Miami Florida by Jim Breuil. He was president of Frontier Oil and at one time owned the Buffalo Bills. He was an offshore racing enthusiast and frequently competed in the Midnight Runs to the Bahamas and the famed Miami to Nassau races – a few I might mention he won – but routinely finished in the top 3 in a 36 Enterprise!
They were a heavy boat built to pound in rough seas along side the Bertrams.
She has a pair of 3208 Cats at 320 HP.
They have 2000 hours and fire up on the first lick. This pushes her along at about a 24 kt cruise. Previous owner fished the Norfolk Canyon on 135 gallons.
